I have nothing but superlatives for my mentors, Nithya Kishore, Pratima, and their team. They exhibited a high degree of dedication, care, and professionalism throughout the application process. They were always available at a moment’s notice to offer support and advice. The interactions with them in selecting the right program, reviewing essays, etc., were always conducted with a hint of positivity, providing a welcome relief during the months leading up to the application deadlines. They continued to support me, even after I enrolled at the university, clearly showing their commitment to ensuring their students succeed.

The result – was that I got into the two most highly competitive business schools in Singapore, and it was hard to choose one over the other in the end. Before approaching Nithya and her team, I had already lost a year working with two other consultants. Despite applying to 10 universities, I could not convert a single admit and was dejected. Yet, Nithya’s ding analysis was bang on. I also loved the fact that I did not have to work with multiple people. Her comprehensive understanding of my academic background in law was reflected in her shortlisting. I knew I wanted to study at Babson College since it’s ranked best for entrepreneurship teaching. But I felt my profile wasn’t strong enough, especially with a three-year degree from India. She and her team guided me to get the right recommendations and supported me in creating strong essays that truly represented who I am. I not only got into the program but also won a merit scholarship. Nithya’s ability to see potential in every aspect of the profile that most overlook was crucial in my success. She continues to be a supportive mentor even after I have graduated, not just for me but for a lot of my friends who have worked with her.
When my son decided to pursue liberal arts, honestly, as parents, we were very sceptical. Especially when International Relations as a major wasn’t even common and widely available in India at the bachelor’s level. We were extremely concerned with his future career options. But Nithya has been such a strength and guiding force over the past four years. She patiently helped turn my son’s interest into a journey of discovery and growth and also helped us understand the potential of a liberal arts education when it’s planned well.
Today, when I see my son set to graduate with a strong GPA, research and teaching experience, and internship with a think tank, I am incredibly proud.
He already has several placement options, including one with a renowned international security firm. We are already consulting Nithya again for his master’s degree abroad, and we are fully confident and stress-free this time. Nithya’s ability to see the big picture and help plan ahead to plug potential gaps has made all the difference.
